WOLF
Wolf is the breakthrough application for every miscreant. Think Uber for criminals.
The objective of this project is to create an app that caters to ex-criminals (or criminal influencers) to find a short-term gig with a high-paying job. Imagine yourself in a dystopian future where the criminal population is overthrowing the authorities. The job market for this particular group becomes limited. That’s when the wolf app enters the internet. Though unethical, this could all become a possibility thanks to Decentralized Finance. Disclaimer: There is no way I’m condoning this idea. It’s my fun little project in my academic study that was inspired by the RICO app from Westworld S3.
DEVELOPMENT
During my primary research, I talked to several people online who have experience in criminology. Each interview was conducted anonymously via an online forum to allow the subjects to speak about their experience freely.
Tools
Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator
Challenges
Peculiar approach for UX research due to its criminal nature
Goal
Improve the UX and redesign the interface of RICO app
Objective
The idea came when I was watching Westworld S3 Episode 1 where Caleb approved a high-crime gig that pays him $1200. I thought that’s cool but maybe they need to give TLC to the interface design.
INSIGHTS
I created hypothetical questions, which in return the subjects provided hypothetical answers. Key findings that were intergrated in the final product are:
• They don’t care if they get caught
• They care more about “interesting” task rather than the reward (but still put money as top priority)
• Although there’s no direct correlation, but most of these people are avid gamers
